Details: Anti-crush valve for plastic drums.Consisting of a valve and an adjustable spring, this valve will open automatically to limit the maximum depression inside a plastic drum used with a cyclone separator and will protect it against crushing.The spring should be adjusted so that the valve remains closed in normal use and only opens when the suction hose or nozzle becomes clogged.This valve is recommended for the use of DUST COMMANDER CLC, DLX and HD models mounted on plastic drums (60l max recommended).This valve is not useful for use with our DUST COMMANDER XL and XL+ filters because the vacuum generated by HVLP (high volume, low pressure) systems is not sufficient to cause the collapse of a plastic or kraft drum .Also the kits with DUST COMMANDER S30, S60, X30 and X60 steel drums do not require the use/installation of this valve because they are strong enough not to be crushed in the event of blockage of the mouthpiece or hose. suction.
